Involvement with Foriner

Weston College became an associate partner of The Foriner Project as it was an exciting opportunity to be able to reach and support more learners in England and across Europe. By being part of The Foriner Project, we will be able to work with prison educators in other countries in sharing good practice, exchanging ideas and formulating a network, therefore enhancing the learning offer for all prisoners. We will provide conventional learning materials to support UK and English speaking prisoners with their learning as well as working with Meganexus on the E-learning resources available on the Virtual Campus to enhance the digital learning offer whilst they are incarcerated in European prisons. Weston College will also be the host provider for Foreign, European prisoners in England and will liaise with the ‘home’ country to access the resources.
